Yesterday I was testing out an idea that I’ve been toying with for awhile: Pinhole for motion. My test consisted of shooting on stills in sequence for motion and a pinhole with an f/stop of about f256. What that means is you need a ton of light to make an exposure. We shot on stage at Seattle Grip & Lighting and I had Doug Hostetter and Nacime Khemis helping out along with Luce Cousineau doing make-up. I had the opportunity to work with a great model and she was available, butfor a short time. So I snatched the opportunity to explore the idea.
It was a great shoot and we got some very interesting images. I’ll share the pinhole images later, but here are some lensed images to give you a glimpse at what we were doing.
